ReplyDeleteAre you sure you want to spend your limited money on a house you don't own? OTOH, if you could identify repairs and/or improvements that *the estate* would want to make and *pay for*, those would be very cost-effective.
Barring specific items that would be very pressing (e.g. insulating an uninsulated house in North Dakota), I would aim first for equipment and training/skills-improvement, were I in this position. But as always, YMMV.
