DVD Review: Gunshot Wound First Aid

After taking a Red Cross Basic First Aid and CPR course I've been looking for a few good sources for learning some advanced First Aid. I came across the DVD Gunshot Wound First Aid and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Mr. Klatt presents the course in a no-nonsense fast paced manner. In this DVD he demonstrates how to do First Aid if a person is shot in various parts of the body. This DVD is geared for anyone who wants to learn, but since Law Enforcement and Military also use his DVD's he does talk about a few situations that might occur in those fields. He has more DVD's I'll be getting in the future - one on Basic First Aid and CPR, Knife Wounds, and Blunt Trauma. I learned more efficiently watching his DVD than I did attending the Red Cross course. Definitely worth the small investment to have on hand to periodically review!
